All right, I'll have another go at it.
Many churches are realizing that it is possible to take advantage of some of the amazing advancements in technology by making that technology work for them in their task of reaching people. However, it is often difficult to make a pleasant fit between the capabilities of high-tech gadgets, and the people and spaces of a church sanctuary. This sounds like a job for Superman, doesn't it!
Unfortunately, he had other commitments and thus is unavailable... So, although not a single one of us is stronger than a locomotive and the only buildings we have ever leapt over were made of Lego bricks, we are taking the challenge! To improve our chances, Designs and Ideas has joined forces with Training Resources. They are an organization that serves the church by training folks in the art of worship. We, however, focus more on the science end of things.
Phil Mahder, a consultant under the TR banner, provides the skills of a consultant and years of experience to work with churches and their issues with modern technology. Designs and Ideas gives solid technical support with drawings, system integration, custom electronics, and other cool, techie stuff.
